FOOTBALL WRAP UP

The best football players in the London were honoured this afternoon during the annual awards ceremony.

The best player in the city this year was Jesse McNair or McNasty as he’s come to be known, and it’s a moniker that he’s accepted.

For the 3rd straight week the Catholic Central Crusaders are number 1 on the CTV Hotlist. Following their 3rd consecutive win, the Banting Broncos return to the top 5 at number 2. The most dominant team in the region, the Oakridge Oaks remain steady at number 3. The St. Thomas Aquinas Flames fell from 2 to 4 after playing to a draw with Central. Kings of the Varsity league, the Central Elgin Titans hold their place as the 5th ranked team on the CTV Hotlist.
