They’re bigger, faster and coming to Delaware Speedway. The announcement was made at /A\ Television London Wednesday morning.
The Details:
The Whelen Modified Tour cars are the bigger and faster brothers the PowerAde Open Wheel Modified racers that have run thrilled fans with their agility, performance and tight racing at Delaware since the early 1990s. Light and nimble, these asphalt road rockets sit a full 11 inches lower than a NASCAR Sprint Cup Series stock car, are 23 inches wider, and almost 1,000 pounds lighter. Traction comes in the form of Hoosier racing slicks, including rears that measure 18 inches across.
