London Lightning Response
We asked the reigning NBL champion London Lightning their thoughts on the critical comments, GM Taylor Brown was quick to respond.
The London Lightning are going to work extremely hard to continue to build
on the solid foundation that we created in our first season. All of the
teams are going to work together to do whatever it takes to make this
league successful. We are not concerned whatsoever with any negative
comments anyone may have. The City of London embraced the Lightning in our
first season and the response thus far for our second season has been
unbelievable. The players we have on our team and in our league are true
professionals who come from extremely successful college basketball
programs such as Arkansas, Kansas State, Duke, and so on. We are going to
try and increase the Canadian content on our team and continue to try and
build a true Canadian Professional Basketball Team and League. We cant
wait for the 2012/2013 season to begin and we think that Windsor would be
a wonderful addition to our League.
Thanks
Taylor Brown
KNIGHTS HOLDING COURT

It’s Official, Dale Hunter will resume head coaching duties behind the bench of the London Knights. Hunter currently has 451 career wins in Junior Hockey, and owns the highest winning percentage ever in the OHL.
The London Knights introduced the teams’ first round draft pick, after signing him. Herbst is following in the footsteps of CHL Goalie of the Year Michael Houser, a fact that is not lost on him, but does not intimidate him either.
London Knights General Manager Mark Hunter welcomed his brother Dale back and First Round Pick Liam Herbst to the fold at a news conference.
