Manitoba saved it’s best for last setting a Brier Record for overall team percentage in a final at 93%. The win has Jeff Stoughton over the moon. Meanwhile Ontario runner-ups again, and it doesn’t get easier for Glenn Howard and crew.

Many curlers have been speaking out this week against the bronze medal game. Kevin Martin delivered a brilliant rant after his page playoff loss to Glenn Howard.
Brad Gushue was more reserved in his comments later in the evening, but lack of enthusiasm for the extra game is evident.

Team Ontario and Team Alberta have met in two of the past three Brier finals. That won’t be the case this year as the teams will meet in the Page 3-4 playoff game Saturday. Norman James has a preview.
